Leighann Neilson is one of the best professors I have ever had during my entire university career. It has been over two years since I took her class and she continues to share knowledge and information with me as if I had never left. To me a teacher must be able to not only speak but more importantly listen. Prof Neilson is always willing to listen and she is very open and honest with me about my ideas. I have proposed several ideas for my own businesses to her and I do so because I know that her knowledge and understanding of the Internet, Marketing and the Business world, will always help put me on the right path. Dr. Neilson’s engaging and clear teaching style ensure that her students get the most out of every class. My semester in her Marketing: New Tools and Approaches class provided me with invaluable skills and knowledge that helped me secure a student marketing position at a government department. Dr. Neilson’s decision to incorporate the Google Online Marketing Challenge into the class allowed me to work with Google AdWords and converse with my manager at her level. I have been asked to assist in the planning of our next campaign, and my ability to take on this task is wholly credited to the training I got by participating in the Google Online Marketing Challenge and the knowledge imparted to me by Dr. Neilson Philip Radok Mass Comm student Carleton University
